  • Ask which standard they clean to and whether they hold a recognised certification
  • Require photographs of the duct interior and the fan blades before and after
  • Confirm they will install access panels where the duct has none
  • Check they carry insurance that covers rooftop work
  • Ask what they do with the waste water, because roof drains are not an answer
